The two kids Kylie (Kelly O’Neill) and Dylan (Shane Curry) escapes from their family and find their way to the city of Dublin. Dylan is a 11-year-old boy who lives with his alcoholic father who flogs his sons. Next door, Kylie is a ten-year-old girl who is also a product of abusive family. When Kylie knew that Dylan will run away, she steals money from her family and decided to go with Dylan. Together, they make their way to the magical city of Dublin finding a new life. As Dublin seems like a paradise during the day, they learn that the other side of the city is a terror to them as the sun falls down.
