The former presidential candidate John Edwards confirmed today that he fathered a child during his affair with videographer Rielle Hunter. In the early years of disclosure, Edwards denied of having a baby with Hunter. In the statement of Edwards he says,

‘I am Quinn’s father,’ he declared in a statement. He vowed to do ‘everything in my power’ to support his daughter, who is nearly two.

Though Edwards admitted the affair, until today he denied he was the father of the child. John Edwards discontinued his presidential bid when his performance performance was too poor. He was also the running mate of Sen John Kerry in the 2004 presidential election.
